And your back can sustain an AN/ARC-2? It took two Pratt and Whitney's to get it airborne ! Wish I still had mine...:-(

that shows how my personal 1x1 AN/ARC-5 is built.

The small box in the middle on the bottom is a J-16
with MIC and EARPHONE jacks. There is a C-26 receiver
control box, but if the set were set for PHONE only,
as it usually was in combat aircraft, that also could be deleted
and a J-22 jack box, which has a VOL control, used.
The CW/PHONE transmit function switch is on the panel
with the Antenna Loading Coil (this is an uncommon
MF variant using the T-17 1.3-2.1 MC Transmitter.
No; I no longer have a T-17 so it ain't for sale LOL).
