Who would want to hear those relays clacking away? I sure wouldn't. Been 
there - done that (with other radios). I don't think the clacking relays 
bothered much of anybody in a B-17 in flight. If I was there and even if 
I could hear the relays (doubtful) I would be more worried about *other* 
things.
