Well, I went out and looked at photos of various Bendix receivers: in almost
all of those, the cover-plates slide open at 90 degrees from those in my
boxes. I.e., sideways rather than end-to-end.
Other RDF or ADF receivers have similar boxes, but they are not very close
to those I have.
Furthermore, there were either too many, or not enough holes in them.
I had even thought of the MN-26, but of those I saw were also not very close.
Looking at photos of an RBM, those that I saw look very much closer to those
I have than any others I have so far found. The number of holes is the same,
the covers slide the same way, the sizes look like they are the same, the
shape of the boxes is the same, the only thing different is that those boxes
are not marked the same as mine.
Further investigation is required.
