There is 2M AM in some areas but it takes asking and/or tuning between 144.3
and 145. Evenings and too early for me on Sunday morning for me around here
but Ive managed to catch a few in the evenings and give my Clegg Zeus and
Interceptor B a little exercise as it is usually on 6M.

Even caught a few coastal tropo openings down to MD and VA.

The T-126 and T-23 differ slightly in frequency range. I'm not sure exactly
where the break is, but think all four channels in the T-126 either cover
100-124 or 100-144 mc. If it's 144, it'd probably go to 2 meters with
minimum fudging.

But, who ya gonna talk to with it....? All I hear up there is Funny
Modulation.

Hmm, wonder could you FM a T-126 or T-23?

 I see there is a T-126 ARC-5 for sale
on ebay. It looks pristine but for some reason has a
light where the receiver antenna jack usually is located on
 the standard VHF ARC-5 transmitter.
