Good point, but in 50+ years, I've never seen anything like it from 
Pipers to some very heavy metal.  I'd hate to use that switch with 
gloves!  Its possibly civil, vice military, as its VHF and DME, vice 
TACAN and UHF.  Rotary wing?  Not from Bell or Sikorsky......... Euro?
