[ARC5] Unknown control box

Mark,

I can’t tell how deep the unit is from the one photo at the link.

But the front panel does indicate it is a control unit.

I could be wrong and it is the two complete radios, plus the DME, but I really think it is just a control head.

I wondered about that.  If you look at the top of the unit you can see a box extending backwards that looks to be long which is why I was wondering.  The NAV/COMMS I've used have been boxes that are deep like that.

Is that a controx box?  It looks to be a good old NAV/COMM transceiver with DME that you'd find in any aircraft of about 35 years ago.
