Collectors and Fellow Hams I need some help. I have been looking for the
CD-515 Power Cable that goes between a BC-669 and the PE-110 Power Supply
for over a year without any luck.

So now I need your help. I am going to build a cable and I need some answers
that I know someone on one of these forums will surely know the answers.

There are two different large connectors in a CD-515 Power Cable and these
questions apply to other radios as well. So here are my questions?

1. If building connectors for a cable and if you have to replace pins both
male and female of different sizes is there a different pin removal tool for
the male pins and the female pins?

2. Is there a different size pin removal tool for different sizes of pins?

3. Anyone familiar with the CD-515 cable that can tell me the total pin
removal tools needed to remove the different sizes of pins on the connector?

4. Anyone know the correct name or nomenclature of the pin removal tools
and where they can be obtained cheaply?

5. Is there any place to buy the different sizes of male and female pins
to make new cannon connectors with without destroying other connectors to
get them?

6. Is there any advice on drilling Bakelite to make larger pin holes? How
easily is it broken?

Thanks for any help.

Floyd
