I agree Bill. I used to have one as well in the late 60's early 70's. His
price is at least 10 times what it is worth today. Even back then, I
probably only paid about $10 or so for it as I did not have any money, HI.

  I notice the Northen Radio variable master oscillator. I had one in the
1960's which was the best signal source I had at the time.
Later got a TMC master oscillator which was much better. These were intended
as local oscillator and BFO for up to 3 receivers for diversity receptions.
This one has a single oven while the TMC was dual oven, much more stable and
had a mechanical digital dial that read out directly in MHZ as well as a
very good built-in heterodyne calibrator with a flashing lamp so that you
could calibrate to less than a Hertz.
  Certainly not worth the price listed.
