[ARC5] SKN -- Post Mortem

Yes, Richard.  The T-22 is on the right and the associated power supply is
on the left.  I use the R4B below for receive most of the time. The Yaesu
transceiver is new; it replaced a TS-820 I've had since 1979.  In the
background is a bunch of test gear sitting on the work bench.

I do have one dirty little secret to confess.  There are a couple of
switches on the front panel of the power supply.  These are for
enabling/disabling screen and plate voltage regulation.  When regulated the
signal loses its character.  I use regulation mode in regular contests and
for most DX chasing because it seems to bother those ops to hear my canary
singing away.  Sometimes I will go for the chirp in a DX pileup and it
really does seem to add 10dB!  I don't think I would have made it to 135
countries on my dipole if i didn't have that chirp for a turbocharger.
