The winter is good.

1.  People who moved here from warm places will go back where they
came from.  There are too many people around here.
2.  Lots of bugs dead.  Less pests in the summer.
3.  Fewer weeds wintered over.  Less of them.
4.  Lots of snow means less risk of spring drought.
5.  No yard work.
6.  No tornadoes; no thunderstorms and lighting.
7.  Less QRN
8.  Gas for heat is cheaper than electricity for A/C.
9.  No Ozone Action Alerts.
10. No birds and doo doo on your car.
11. No bugs splatting on windshield.
12. No West Nile Virus
13. No worry about sun burn and skin cancer, or at least not as much.
14. No outdoor festivals or kiddies hanging around outside blasting
irritating music on boxes.

The list goes on and on.  I wouldn't mind a few more months of this.
