Please re-post this to any mil group that may have members who could be interested in any of the items.
I am helping clean out a warehouse that used to be Mock Electronics in Decatur Alabama. Mocks’ was a Surplus Electronics store that was established in 1946. There are some war surplus items that need a good and worthy home. These items are available as donations to worthy restoration efforts but all items must be picked up no later than February 18th. After the 19th the current owner will no longer have access to the building.
The items offered are the following.
2) Range and Train Indicators, Type CRP-55ABC-1, Unit of Model SG Radar Equipment.
Neither is complete but the two may be used to complete one.
1) Model SQ Reflector Assembly, N16-RA-4046, looks like a dish type antenna that you would see spinning on a mast on board a ship. Still in the crate but I can’t say for sure it is complete.
1) Signal Lamp, Model M-283, We opened the crate on this one so it is complete and new.
1) Ranger APU (putt-putt) 2 Cylinder Aircraft Engine Generator, 28Volt 200 amp. Air Corps Type D-2, Model V32, 10 HP.
Pictures on request can be sent by email. Given the fact that Mocks’ has been an Alabama based company from the beginning, preference will be given to The USS Alabama if they are interested in any of the items.
Please contact Steve Williams by email at swkb4dmf at windstream.net I will be traveling Saturday so I may not reply until late that night or Sunday.
