Did anyone else get a loud 60 cycle hum on the video/film? A few years
ago I saw another documentary about the Lady Be Good where they found
most of the crew's bodies. They also mentioned that the navigation log
was blank and the navigation instruments were still put away as if they
hadn't been used. The condition of the wreak was such that the crew
could have easily survived and could have called for help on the HF
radio. As often the disaster was not caused by one problem but by a
trail of mistakes. A green crew suffered a terrible death. God rest
their souls.
