[ARC5] Torpedo Squadron 8

I forget the website address, but there is a site devoted to the TBD Devastator torpedo bomber which is interesting for two reasons.  One, it identifies all the TBDs used in the 1940 movie "Dive Bomber," starring Fred MacMurray.  Two, it details the ultimate fate of all TBDs.
Not that many TBD Devastators were built; the figure 350 stands out in my mind but that may not be correct.
Going through that web site, and noting how many are shown as destroyed 6-4-42, will make your hair stand on end.
There is some interesting, poignant commentary on the courage of the torpedo squadrons in the book "WW2" by James Jones.
