We had one of those events yesterday in Oklahoma. A Korean and Vietnam vet with stage 3 cancer had been trying to get help from the VA for 13 months to no avail. He had recently contacted a local talk show host and with lots of other help he had finally gotten some VA assistance in 24 hours. Unfortunately it was way too late, for his despair over what has happened to the country for which he sacrificed so much had shown him it just didn't give a damn. Wednesday he had contacted the talk show host for what became the last time as he shot himself after he had hung up.
I sure hope it's not already too late to turn this country around!
