The compliment of comms gear as a snapshot in time (roughly early 1943)
is shown on the first page of
http://aafradio.org/docs/Navy-radio-gear-1943.pdf on my website, Phil.
The problem with a blanket question like the one you asked is that
nothing was really static during the war, and equipment was replaced on
a regular basis as the war went on. So, by early 1943, the command set
was an RU/GF set. There's a good chance one of the RUs was replaced by
an ARB later in the war, possibly with an ATC at some point for liaison
service, but I can't give you a date. The RU/GF worked fine for plane
to plane and plane to tower use in patrol service which tended to be
solitary missions, so it's unlikely it was replaced by one of the ARC
products - they went primarily into smaller combat aircraft.
