I work in an engineering group, and we have several fellas who have built, and use, 3D printers.  I will chat with these folks and perhaps make a few.

Some time ago there was was an ebay seller offering two or three 3D printed knob fittings for ARC-5 type splines. He said it was an experiment and that he'd "post processed" the plastic with a solvent to ensure the layers were solidly joined. I don't recall if he sold any.

Should work.  I have a 'sample' product, a nut and bolt made with a 3D
printer at a trade show.  Very tough and works great! I'll check with my
buddy who sells 3D printers.
