[ARC5] An unusual cure for a short in a tuning gang.

In my case , the top trimmers for the osc gang can be unsoldered, which I did in an attempt to isolate the problem.
It turned out to be the in the main variable gang. I suspect that prior dissassembly and re-assembly may have caused the fragment issue. The air blast did the job... no dropping necessary...

Aren't there top-mounted trimmer capacitors across all sections?
Maybe the short was there?
Aluminium fragments caused by a previous modifier's drilling and filing?
