[ARC5] Transformer questions

No.  Watts in = Watts out (less losses).  If "NT" means "No Tap", then the 
higher secondary is rated at 37.2 watts.  If you use a voltage doubler, the 
max current you could draw @ 100% efficiency would be 0.075 A.  The nominal 
current drawn only by the 1625 plates is around 200 mA.  At 550 VDC, that's 
110 watts.  So the Heath transformer is too small by about 3X even before 
you add the screens and oscillator.
