Yep, thanks to Jeff jogging my memory on that.   They both used the 
AVA-126 vibrator supply so while they're completely different designs 
I'm hoping that will give me what I need for power connections.   This 
AVT-111 was a "plug-and play" transmitter on 3105 or doubling, to 6210 
kc.   (Imagine every aircraft sharing one frequency!)     Pic:

The only control selects which freq. and can add a fixed loading cap for 
3105, and the PA tank is slug-tuned..   A 6V6 osc drives the 6V6 final 
with the carbon mic driving another pair in P-P in the modulator.     
Just a classic!
