[ARC5] BC-230 meter repair?

RF ammeters do use a thermocouple and you will probably not be able to
repair it to your satisfaction unless the only problem is the two pieces
coming apart. Even then the previous thermal coupling would be very
difficult to exactly duplicate after you glue them back together. Usually
the wire is open and the thermocouple is still good so you would have to
come up with resistance wire of exactly the same resistance and also
reproduce the thermal coupling coefficient. Electric Radio carried an
article on it about a year or two ago.
