I would be willing to BET you that it won't until you have replaced all the

Doesn't really matter, although I much prefer it being left at 28 V for the LV.

I know several WD2X...stations who are planning to use, or are presently
using, CW and in some cases, rigs built or configured on the basis of 1929
era circuits: TNT for at least three that I know of. One is even using AM.
My own 630 meter rig is a push-pull pair of 211s in TNT which I originally
built to use in the Bruce Kelly AWA 1929 QSO party on 80 and 40 meters.
