[ARC5] T-17 on eBay crying in my beer

In order to increase the inductance of the T-15/ARC-5 antenna tuning
coil, ARC designed it with the normal outer ceramic form and an internal
*coaxially mounted* cylindrical phenolic form that had additional turns
in series with the ceramic coil. In effect it was a fixed inductance in
series with a variable inductance. It was augmented with the TN-6/ARC-5
antenna loading coil shown at http://aafradio.org/flightdeck/arc5-10.jpg
to provide matching with a wide variety of possible aircraft antennas.
That is the reason I mentioned it being unique to the T-15...a fact that
was probably overlooked by the modifiers of these sets back in the day.
