I just saw this about the "capacitors missing plates." The T-15, -16 and -17 have a tuning cap that looks very different from the HF ones. I looks like it's missing plates, but it's not. It's that way by design. I can't remember everything about it. I'm going to go pull a bottom cover and take a photo
