Well, yes and no.  The restoration crew moved out to Dulles...and then 
moved back to Garber, leaving a skeleton crew at Udvar-Hazy. Loudon 
County apparently had some code issues with the construction of the new 
addition that housed the restoration facility.  I think they are still 
sorting all that out, but eventually the Silver Hill facility will 
primarily be a storage site.  Gordon's point is that the NASM has an 
extensive system for keeping track of even the smallest artifacts.  The 
Type K web page at http://aafradio.org/NASM/Hmmmm.html shows a tiny 
corner of that inventory system.
