Hi all
I pulled out my 80m RCAF transmitter and found that the plastic scale over the roller inductor has shrunk/warped
Are there any replacement scale options out there?

Second - Im embarking on restoring a BC455 receiver to operational status. (First effort at this)
The aluminum enclosure is in generally good shape with a few dings and dimples and 'beauty marks'
but otherwise unmodified.  "Somebody" removed the ID tag from the side though and also looks
like they buffed out an identifier on the rear.  The set still has the red square acceptance stamps
on the side though.

I cleaned the top cover with soap/water and cleaned with NeverDull.  Im going to hand clean
the chassis (not going to give the set a dip in the pool....)

I removed the bottom plate and the large triple cap had a good dollop of green ooze and
a couple other caps show signs of leakage so I figure I'll replace the caps with modern
caps and affix those to standoffs bolted to the sides using existing screw holes.

Question - if I was to purchase a supply of replacement caps for this set and others, where
has the group gone to get parts - Antique Electronic Supply, Mouser, junque box, etc?

My plan is to not restuff the pots - I'll save them and the next owner can take a shot at it.....

Mike
