[ARC5] AGC in AN/ARC-5 receivers - details needed.

According to what I have learned over the years, ARC did some fairly major
reworking of the AGC circuits in their receivers over the years.

One of the last versions of the communications receivers (and perhaps the
navigation receivers also) had fairly good AGC circuit that was fairly heavily
modified from the original, and even from a later version.

For instance, in an R-26 I am working on for a fellow, R-11, which is
supposed to be 10K ohms as shown on the schematic I am using from the
AN/ARC-5 maintenance manual, is now 200 ohms in this receiver.

And there are other differences.

Does anyone have definitive information on what changes ARC actually
performed on the AGC circuitry by the end of the AN/ARC-5 series receivers,
and before they switched to the loctal tubes?

I would sure love to have at least a schematic.
