Oh yes! :-)

In SOME circuits, it is actually best to take the screen voltage from the plate 
supply through a dropping resistor: in others, it is best to use a separate 
screen supply. Personally, I like to take my screen voltage from a separate 
supply...almost all of the time. One has better control over it.
