I pulled out my BC-906-C and BC-906-D.
My particular -C is calibrated from just over 144 to just over 225
megacycles. It would be interesting to compare the calibration
chart with another example.
The -D is calibrated from just under 150 to 235 megacycles. At 235 the
calibration line runs off the scale.
In both units the frequency is calibrated from a dial reading of
approximately 10, to approximately 90.
The manual with my -C is Tech. Order 08-10-107
This TM gives *NO* frequency information whatsoever. Does
have a schematic and very basic servicing information.
This TM specifically states the front panel push button
is to shut the unit off when the door is closed.
The TM for the SCR-695-A references the BC-906-C, and
specifically states that "The vertical scale of each
chart reads one-tenth (1/10) of the resonant frequency, in
megacycles. This factor of 1/10 is employed for secrecy."
One of the many projects in the que is to fire up the
BC-966, and the test equipment involved.
Doesn't answer all questions, but maybe is a start.
