[ARC5] Transmitter Woes

Take a look at this photo, shamelessly stolen from the web ;-):

The red arrows point to wires that go through holes
in the sides of the caps. Those wires are connected
to metal strips that are press-fit to the end of the cap stators.
The posts that are pressed against the metal strip
to attach it to the stator is where the oxides build-up
and create a Hi-Z joint.
It ain't easy to get at, but it's becoming a common problem.
The rear cap has it too, just couldn't see the wire in the photo.
You'll get the idea.
