I didn't consider it an oversight, Mark - you have a good data point for
a 12 ohm antenna feedpoint. If you're feeding a 50 hm antenna, it's
actually better to use a 9:1 UNUN to get the RF ammeter back in its
usual operating aircraft range, but then the losses are greater, so
there's a tradeoff. I like the 4:1 because I just got tired of looking
at the meter barely getting off of zero and you don't lose very much
power through the transformer.
By the way, the more current you bring through the RF ammeter, the
faster the response. :-)
