[ARC5] Square wave oscillators

Hi John,

There is some confusion here. I looked up the words that Wayne used. This
led me
to look up the specs on the LTC1799, hence the 40ppm/degC figure.

There are also AD9850 modules on eBay for amazingly little ($5 or less,
free shipping).
These work very well except that the onboard filter isn't quite right. But
100% usable and
unbeatable at the price.

If you want stability the DDS chips are superb. If you want ease of use,
the R-programmable
oscillators are better. If you want moderate stability and excellent phase
noise, the Si570
is king. All depends what you want.
