Looking for something else on ebay I found a seller that has "1khz to 33MHZ Oscillator module" for less than $10. This device produces a square wave. I am very aware that such oscillators are very rich in harmonics but if it is substituted for a crystal (just the crystal) in an older design RF oscillator circuit, how well will it work? Thanks!
