[ARC5] BC-375 tubes

I had thought of that one except that they are usually hard to find and expensive.
I sold some a few years ago that were in good condition and the ebay buyer claimed that
they both had open filaments. Either he was trying to pull something over on me or
the filaments were broken in shipping. I shipped a couple more, last ones, and that was
the end of it.

Subject: [ARC5] BC-375 tubes

I haven't read every message in the thread so don't know if this has been tried yet.

What about the 826? This is a triode, looks like an 829B without the plate pins.

The only ham use of these things seems to have been in Gonset 6 and 2 meter linears to be paired with the Gooney Box AM rigs. Thanks to the cold-war generousity of th' Fed'rul Goobermint and the Civil Defense program, there are about a bazillion of these tubes still extant, NIB.

And I don't think th' Audiophools have discovered them yet.
