Well, **I** sure think so! It has been very useful for me. I completely cleaned 
an ancient (100+ years old) rusted rifle bore with it, several tools, some 
corroded ARC-5 receiver tuning cables, and many other radio bits with it.

Excellent stuff.

I think it is actually a very high-performing detergent. It attacks nothing but 
the rust.
