Yes. I was pretty much aware of that: I said that mainly because in my 
(somewhat limited) experience with Halli receivers, it was the most stable 
one I ever used. I meant that as a sort of insult to Halli receiver HFO 
designers.

I have always liked the looks and feel of the SX-28...

I had a chance to use an R-274/SX-73 when I was very active in AFMARS. I 
really liked it and was very impressed by it at the time. It confirmed my 
viewpoint that the only time Halli could make a stable receiver was when the 
military was involved in some way.

I still cannot figure out why their receiver HFOs were generally so bad...
