I think you are in luck.

You will find that the PU-43A is the same or similar to the 800-1. He
provides a link to a document about the compensating capacitor at:

Quite some time ago, I was lucky to get one of these 800-1 inverters
from a surplus place in Medford, MA, of all places just down the hill
from my undergraduate college (Tufts). I was able to get the needed
MS connectors from Wm Perry.
If anyone ever does find another of these screaming meemies, I
strongly suggest a thorough cleaning and re-lubrication of the
bearings. Then find a very long length of wire to run it on, place
the thing OUTside your shack or work shop, and stand by for neighbor
complaints anyway.
