If I was working with small pieces, I'd use Gorilla Glue, (which I  
have some of handy).

But it's expensive, so if I was doing larger pieces, and certainly any  
the size of a full sheet, I"d use construction adhesive.  This stuff  
comes in a tube for your caulking gun type thing.

If I was doing the side of the house (many sheets), I'd use the larger  
size construction caulking gun.
