[ARC5] MREs

Hmm... I heard that MRE means Meals Rejected by the Enemy. (Here comes another debate akin to the SCR Question....)

One of my co-workers told me about some kind of mystery-meat MRE that his paratrooper unit dubbed "Cat Loaf." I never encountered that (he said the smell was very diSTINKtive) but have had some others that if it hadn't been dark, I'd have never stuck a fork in them. Good thing they came with a little bottle of Tabasco Sauce, to kill the taste....

As another of my co-workers said about some MREs, "That looks lak' som'thin what dun been et' b'fo'....)
