[ARC5] Need Information

Start by understanding the ARC-5 units were manufactured for the US navy.
The SCR-274 units were manufactured for the USAAC/USAAF. SCR stands for
"Signal Corps Radio".
If I remember right the ARC-5 transmitters were plate modulated and the
SCR-274 radios were screen modulated.
