[ARC5] NC-270 Paint

As long as I have y'all sitting at your 'puters gnawing on your fingernails and breathlessly awaiting my next post, here is another question.

This NC-270 example has the usual Cosmic Blue front panel but the removable case, the top, sides, back, and bottom, painted light blue, essentially a Baby Blue.  I love the Cosmic Blue color scheme, have since I bought my first NC-155 in 1974, but I think the two tone version on the NC-270 is vastly inferior.  

 

I note that one NC-270 on ebay (offered by the guy who has that RAT) is two toned but that another one up for sale right now has the darker blue on top, sides, and back, but not the bottom.  And it sure looks original.

 

Anyone know if National offered them in alternate paint schemes?  I am going to have to repaint the removable part of the case anyway, and I would rather do it in the front panel color, or close to it.  I have found a Cosmic Blue Dupli-color auto paint that is pretty close.
