I wouldnt have blamed whoever did that one bit no matter what year. Way too 
many on here have a very narrow view on reality and think that only their 
way is good.

I wonder why some of the older ones dont already own everything of the ARC-5 
style? Late bloomers I guess and most of the kiddies havent a clue of what 
transpired since 1945.

As far as the 70's or 80's switches I can very well understand a ham with a 
hamband only rig wanting to do some SWLing or even your basic non ham SWL.
