Hi,

Maybe they misplaced their fire axe at the time they were doing that
radio (evil grin). I am probably eventually going to be looking for one
more each of BC-454 and BC-455 and that will be all the command
receivers I am willing to steward onward. So I am taking a pass, too. No
hoarding here.

My set of four is pretty much operational now and and I'm putting
together the supporting pieces to use them in my shack. The mods that
were already done to them were modest and one or two I have reversed.
But I am a radio user and things like useless caps and burned resistors
are *gone*. A missing output transformer has been replaced by a
"substitute" and down under that chassis nobody is going to see it
anyway. My radios are already stirring a little interest in "history"
and they're not even on the line yet. "Where do you suppose this
computer will be in 70 years?" Raises some eyebrows :)
