The damage can probably be repaired, but the real shame is 
the missing top with it's priceless nomenclature plate
and the paint-over of the rear skirt information.
I've managed to recover some such markings with careful
use of automotive rubbing compound.  The correct top
was probably thrown-out in the box of  "oh this is just junk"
the kids put in the dumpster during the clean-out-
another victim of  "I'll get around to it some day."
We can hope the dyno retains its plate and that 
an appreciative caretaker wins the auction.
To many bills this month for me to "rasssle" you for it ;-)
