Interesting timing here given the recent thread on low voltage tubes. The April issue of Nuts and Volts magazine arrived today. The cover features an article which unites one of those really tiny micro processors and a vacuum tube. In this case a 12K5 is used as a Wireless AM Transmitter. The author gives a well detailed explanation of what a tube is AND to boot photos of the insides of a tube he dissected like an autopsy. Very nicely done.
