looks like a pretty close match, though it does not have the cloth 
covering, which I suspect you could get from one of the antique radio 
parts sellers.

Simply spraying it black might be close enough.  You'll need one of the 
5/8"-27 knurled coupling nuts used with the tuning cables and it will be 
necessary to make a ferrule sized to the outer sheath of the cable and 
stake or epoxy it on (after sliding the coupling nut on, of course.)
