  I was at work with bosses all around so did not see other pics.
 Years ago I put a BC-348 cabinet-less chassis into a nice wood "chest" cabinet with lifting lid and fold down front. It turned out really nice and "living room" quality when closed up. I sold it many years ago at Foothill flea market for a song. It had built in P.S. and an un modified front panel in very good shape.
 I think the buyer just wanted the wood cabinet.
 It really would have pleased a XYL to have this set in her parlor!  It looked "clandestine" which has it's  own "romance" i.e. 007 et al.

f you look in the back of the receiver, using the 2nd pic, it is easy to 
ee, the backof the chasis has been cut off with a hacksaw.  there is a 
ower supply with a transaformer to the right.
