Hmmm....I recall looking at the hulk of a PT boat at some 'fort' or old
base when I was out there in 2003. Seems it was across the river in
Vancouver WA. Not Pearson Field, but somewhere nearby with nice old
buildings and roads winding through it. What was basically a hull was
sitting there in the weather wasting away. Looked like maybe it have been
painted white at some point. Asked a fellow if it was for sale but he said
they were planning on restoring it. Doesn't sound like the same one if
they've been working on this one since 94. I hope it found a caretaker.

Several nice little surplus shops around Portland even then.
