     This may be like classic cars. Modern rice boxes are
not much different than computers, all software driven. The
old stuff has big knobs that DO something.  About cars;
modern engineering has it all over the classics but modern
cars have no elegance or glamour whatever. Just find anyting
current that looks like a Dusenberg J, or 1930s Packard, or
even a 1940 Ford. Same with radios, name me any current
radio that is as sexy looking as a GPR-90 or SP-600 or
National anything, Collins anything, or RCA AR-88. I can
name lots of others.
