Here's another place of interest. CQ magazine issue October 1965 is devoted to mil surplus. Two Gordon White articles, but I digress. The first subject discussed is the APR-4Y. It just discusses the basics, frequency ranges and model numbers, no circuit changes. 5 tuning units are described. I would like to get a TN-54/APR4 or equivalent which tunes 2150-4000 mc.
