[ARC5] S+N/N ratio results.

Just from my own perspective and with a nod to other viewpoints,
I have a real simple way to to test S+N/N ratio in this ancient warriors:

If the kids are not yelling, the dogs are not barking,
the phone is not ringing and I can hear the other guys 
in the 75-meter rag chew,  the S+N/N reading is: "Good."

These radios are not suitible for weak-signal work.
The new-fangled plastic "computers with antennas" do that.
IMHO, noise measurements in these rigs are valuable 
as a curiosity and a learning tool, but I wouldn't spend much 
of my own time fussing with them.
 YMMV, of course.
